Range Officer Class
Saturday, June 6 & Sunday, June 7, 2009

Location: Creighton University, College of Business Administration Building, Room 107 (approximately 25th and Burt Streets)

Class Time: Saturday, June 6: 8:00am (sharp!) - 6:00pm.  Please plan to arrive on campus by 7:30am.  The instructor has said that we will be able to cover everything in one long daytime session.  We are planning to bring in donuts for the morning and arranging for lunch to be brought in.

UPDATE: Sunday - Please arrive at the range by 8:00am, as the instructor wants to start the class exercise at 8:30am.

Note: The College of Business Administration is "BA" on campus maps, and is also known as the Eppley Building.

Narrative directions:

You are looking for the student parking lot, which is located at approximately 25th and Burt Streets.  You can only enter and exit the lot from Burt Street - the Cuming Street parking entrance is gated and is reserved for faculty and staff parking.

• If you are coming from Interstate 480, take the Cuming Street Exit, and turn right (east)
• Go east until you get to the 24th Street intersection, and turn right (south)
• Go south to Burt Street (the next light) and turn right (west)
• Take the entrance to the Student Parking lot (second driveway on your right) and park; or park on Burt Street
• Walk across Burt Street to the south, and take the stairs up the hill
• You will see the College of Business Administration building in front of you
• Come in the door and go up a flight of stairs, take a right, and BA 107 is the first classroom on your right.

OR

• If you are coming from 24th Street, go north past Dodge and take a left (west) on Burt Street
• Go west for a short distance, and take the entrance to the Student Parking lot (second driveway on your right) and park; or park on Burt Street
• Walk across Burt Street to the south, and take the stairs up the hill
• You will see the College of Business Administration building in front of you
• Come in the door and go up a flight of stairs, take a right, and BA 107 is the first classroom on your right.

There is a Visitors Parking Lot at 24th and Cass Street, however, that is at the other end of campus.  You may park in the student lot on Burt Street during the weekend and will not be ticketed.  There is parking on both sides of Burt Street, feel free to park on the street if you prefer. 

If you have a handicapped parking permit, please contact me at the email address or phone number(s) below for special parking directions.

I will post signs for the class on the outside and in the building.  Smoking is prohibited inside campus buildings.  The University is a gun-free zone by State law for permit holders, and by University policy for those carrying under the affirmative defense clause and those carrying illegally.

Vending machines are available (we are a Pepsi campus) or you can bring your own.
