Notes From Match Director

Attention Shooters! With all of the growth we're seeing in our Match participation, I feel it's time to review a few Match day items and Shooter Responsibilities...

First, PLEASE note that Match registration ends, stops or closes at 8:30am. We are strictly enforcing this cutoff time! It does not matter if you pre-registered online or are registering at the range. The 8:30 am cut off applies to everyone. You must have checked-in and paid at the Pistol Shed before 8:30 am. If you're running late, for a good reason, contact an ENPS Match person (cellphone or text) BEFORE 8:29am and we'll do what we can to accommodate you.

Also, with regards to online Pre-registration Squadding requests... We make every effort to accommodate these requests, however, if in an effort to satisfy RO staffing requirements or making the match run smoothly, up to a few shooters may have to be moved around. It doesn't happen every time and we make every effort to avoid this, but it does happen.

Lastly, Match Day Setup begins at 7:15am. The fun stages, that everyone likes to shoot, generally take quite a bit of setup time. We would like everyone to show up early to help, in any way you can, with setup. (FYI, after 8:00am is not early.) With more people helping, we don't have to rush at the last minute in order to get everything finished by 8:30am. If you don't know how you can help, DON'T be afraid to just ask when you check in. They'll point you to one of our Match staff or one of the Stage bays needing help. This is a volunteer sport and it is what you help make it.
